What size of organization does RootN typically work with?

We work with mid-size to enterprise organizations — typically 200 to 5,000+ employees. The common factor is not size, but operational complexity. If your workflows involve multiple systems, departments, or manual approval chains, we can likely add significant value.

How long does a typical engagement take?

Most engagements run 4 to 10 weeks from diagnostic to live production deployment. Complex multi-system integrations may extend to 12 weeks. We do not run open-ended retainers — every project has a defined scope, timeline, and delivery milestone.

Do we need to replace our existing systems?

Almost never. RootN builds around your existing infrastructure. We integrate with and augment the systems you already operate — SAP, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, custom ERP/CRM platforms, or any combination. Rip-and-replace is expensive and slow. We build intelligence on top of what you have.

How is ROI measured and guaranteed?

We establish measurable baseline metrics before work begins — hours spent on manual processes, cycle times, error rates, costs. At deployment and at 90 days post-deployment, we measure the same metrics and compare. If we cannot establish a meaningful ROI model before the project starts, we will not propose one.

Is RootN a software product or a services firm?

Services firm — currently. We are building toward a proprietary industrial analytics platform as a future product offering. Today, every RootN engagement is custom-built engineering delivered as a professional service. No license fees, no vendor lock-in.
